when I played new world preview, i joined a guild led by a guy named snytax.
he's a cool guy and i want to play with him.
i invited him to our discord, so he knows we are already an established multi-gaming guild, but i want to chat with him first and see if he's interested in joining us and perhaps being a co-guildleader for our new world guild....
id like to do this before deciding what i want to do in new world.
obviously, you guys have already clearly stated that there will be a FORGE guild in new world, so of course I'd have to be part of it - but i just want to have this chat with him first before i officially commit myself (even though its sortof implied....)

you guys know how i am, im very loyal to friends.

In Elite:D, you can play in OPEN mode (full MMO public mode), PRIVATE mode (joining a private group where only others in that group are in the same galaxy as you), and SOLO mode (you, yourself, and nobody).

Playing in OPEN brings the dangers of PVP, especially if you are new, you are going to just get wrecked without engineered ships and such.
Playing in PRIVATE means you either have friends you want to play with, or you can join any of the large-scale groups available such as Mobius-PVE (a large PVE only group).

For GAMERSFORGE members, we have a private group just for our community.
All you need to do is join the "GFORGE" group in the social menu (main menu -> social -> groups -> search for "GFORGE" and join!).
We also recommend signing up for Mobius-PVE-Eurasia group, as that is the large-scale PVE group we play in too (~10k members in there right now). Their website is here: https://elitepve.com/page/join )
Be sure to read all of it and make sure youd like to play there.

Other than that, join the discord #elite-dangerous channel and if you are interested in joining our faction, we are part of Communism Interstellar (CI) - however to join requires you to prove your salt as a good'ol'comrade, which of course implies you must be up to par with the very best of humanity! hey man. for dayz, just play on the server! no need to apply, as there arent any "guild" functions in dayz type games.
i think i talked to you on discord if you have the same name anyway, so ya - if you join any of our other games like POE, new world, guild wars etc where we have guilds, just post in those threads to get an invite

Yes this is a dayz "feature" called "flying car bingo"

no but really....its part of the base game engine, and we use no vehicle damage mod so that you dont destroy your car every little time you bump into something while driving....which makes it worse unfortunately.
